In the spring time the steelhead head up stream to spawn and in the fall the salmon head up. You often see some salmon and steelhead in the creek but the kids enjoy fishing for the small trout. The headwaters starts in Luther through Irons. There are many great public fishing spots available on the river. The lake is 78 acres in size and is a spring fed lake with depths of 51' deep. Great for fishing, swimming and boating!
